Beyond athletics, he is a life coach, lead software engineer, inventor, entrepreneur, and men’s pastor with an unshakable passion for developing men. His proactive mentoring style, rooted in biblical principles and strategic duplication processes, is designed to uplift men and their families by helping them walk in their God-given purpose.

In 2007, he launched the Mighty Men’s Training Institute (www.MightyMen.us), a national training center providing intense, strategic, and systematic development for 21st-century men. The Institute’s mission is to teach, train, and release men into impactful leadership across every facet of life. Upon completing the program, men graduate with a comprehensive understanding of biblical manhood—equipped to serve as excellent husbands, fathers, leaders, and role models within their communities.

Coach Small has been married for over 30 years to his wonderful wife, Traycie, and together they are the proud parents of four outstanding adult children!
